this was basically my first brisket. I had help the last time and that was in 1998.
I have a 4.4lb beef brisket from Wally World. I just covered it in HOH and plan to cook with RO charcoal and a mesquite split in the UDS this evening 

I made bourbon baked beans and brisket. everything was awesome and it will definitely be done again soon!!!! Considering I was using mesquite, the smoke ring was beautiful! 4.37 lbs took 12 hours!

HOH for 22 hours in the fridge, covered in Worcestershire when I added it in the smoker. pot of beans under it at 150F. foil with apple juice at 165F. took foil off for last hour.
